Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using ATS Resume Builder (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

ATS Resume Builder is a web application that helps you build, format, score, and export résumés. The Service is provided by Jayasakthi Dharmarajan and is offered free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for all activity under your account.
• Keep your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You must be at least 13 (or 16 in the EU) to use the Service.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create with the Service (your résumés, summaries, bullet points, etc.). We do not claim ownership of anything you build.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license ends when you delete your content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to deceive employers.
• Misrepresent qualifications, experience, or identity.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise probe the Service's source beyond what's publicly available.
• Scrape, rate-limit-bust, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
• Upload malware, run automated abuse scripts, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts.
• Resell or commercially redistribute the Service.

6. AI-assisted features

The Service may include features that suggest wording rewrites or keyword improvements. These suggestions are tools — you remain solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the final résumé content.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account via the data request page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that ATS scores or keyword matches will guarantee job-application outcomes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jayasakthi Dharmarajan and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Jayasakthi Dharmarajan from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in the courts located in India.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
